Everything that I expected and then some more. The movie made me emotional and mentally exhausted but I loved it. Hats off to the Russo brothers for handling such a daunting task with literally a hundred characters. Fantastic acting from the cast. Typical marvel humor is there but they didn’t overdo it. Some expected plot twists and some unexpected. Tons and tons of action. Visually very good especially Thanos’ CGI. Oh Shit Thanos. THE best Marvel villain ever. Menacing,Powerful, Purposeful, yet elicits your sympathy. Pacing was good. Some characters are given the short end of the stick but there had to be compromises. Thanos’ black order was mostly disposable.
The ending. Oh Man the ending alone makes this movie. Worth watching it with an enthusiastic crowd. Watching it again this Saturday and definitely getting the Blue Ray. Can’t wait for Avengers 4!

Fantastic acting from the cast. Aren’t you in the cast.

Gotta pat yourself in the back every now and then

My expectations were high, and met. Extremely well done...the wait for the conclusion is going feel eternal.

I might skip this one as there’s too many characters that I don’t know

Yeah you gotta know the backstory and watch like 80% of the 19 movies to really enjoy it.

My feelings on the MCU are very low at the moment after such duds like Black Panther and Guardians vol. 2 that the only thing I want it to do is not have me walk out feeling awkward.

And that’s exactly why I can’t get into the MCU. I’ve enjoyed the ones that I’ve seen, but there are too many prerequisites that you have to watch before you can fully appreciate the newest Avengers movie.

There literally a million videos on Youtube that can help you with that. Ultimately you have to have the interest.

GOTG2 fine but even ignoring my Kinja name...Black Panther? Dud? OOhhkaayyy

I’m interested, the problem is I’m a completionist and I want to watch all of the movies. But I don’t get to the movies often enough. So I end up with a backlog of stuff to watch, it gets I overwhelming, and I don’t bother.
I’ll probably see it eventually.

Maybe you won’t get it considering your Kinja handle but I wasn’t very thrilled by Black Panther. Hits a lot of the same old Marvel notes. Not worthy of the tons of box office records it’s holding.

Black Panther which was so unique itself “hit the same old Marvel notes”? LOL, what would you say about Age of Ultron then?
and I never said it was the best Marvel movie ever. For the record I put Winter Soldier and Civil War over BP tied with first Avengers.

I hate AoU, I also don’t really like Civil War. They’re not bad movies but you expect more considering the franchise and the hype.

I will say that I liked BP when I saw it the first time, but I keep thinking about it and I keep finding things I don’t like.

OK which MCU movie do you actually like? your #1?

The Winter Soldier, I love the dark spy aesthetic of it. It’s the movie that made me fall in love with Cap and I wish it would have had a bigger effect over the grand scheme of things in the MCU.

I didn’t mean to harshen your marshmallow. I’m glad you liked it. I wish I had the time and energy to be fully caught up on the MCU.
